Day 12- Guangzhou Zoo

Today is Monday and the start of our third day on Shamian Island.  Mo-She's adjustment to our family continues to go well.  He continues to sleep well at night and hasn't had any more crying out for his "brother with the glasses" episodes.  We are so thankful and blessed to see him so happy.  He has really become attached to Uncle Zhou, our adoption coordinator.  He talks to him constantly and Zhou is always laughing during their conversations saying he is a very funny boy.

We decide as a group the zoo would be a nice place to visit today.   We haven't had the opportunity to see the zoo in Guangzhou our last two visits, so are looking forward to seeing it today.  We are not sure Mo-She has ever seen a zoo.  Uncle Zhou asked him and his answer was not very clear.

Breakfast before the zoo.  I got to babysit Brandon while his Mom and
Dad ate breakfast.  He is a precious little boy and we all love him!

Lots to see at the zoo!

Poor Shu and Jie . . . . it took about 10 attempts to get this picture!
Mo-She and Grayson do not pose well together!

 These giraffes were amazing!

The girls were always looking out for their little brother.  He loved the zoo
and kept saying, (in Chinese) "Let's see more animals!"

The Goldfish Garden was our favorite.  They all got to feed
Koi with baby bottles!

It was a beautiful zoo and everyone enjoyed the day.

The only thing we came home with was one blow up giraffe to add to Mo-She's collection!

  1. I don't think I have ever seen fish being fed with a baby bottle! Looked like a fun day was had at the zoo!

  2. Now I'm really envious. I want to feed the Koi with a baby bottle!...I guess Harp kids are just destined to love giraffes!
